Review John Wick : Chapter 4

John Wick : Chapter 4 is the fourth installment presented by Lions gate entertainment. Keanu Reeves back as the main character with Ian McShane (Winston), Laurance Fishburne (Bowery King), Lance Riddick (Charon), Donnie Yen (Caine), Bill Skarsgård (Marquis), Hiroyuki Sanada (Shimazu) and many more.

John Wick (Keanu Reeves) uncovered a path to beating The High Table. But before he can earn his freedom and his old life, John's is obligate to face off against a new enemy with more powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into his foes.

As expected from the John Wick series, Chapter 4 maintains a serious atmosphere throughout. The film delve deeper into the protagonist's past, providing a more profound insight into his character and the world he inhabits. Keanu's did an excellent job over the past few years for this Baba Yaga. His calmness, integrity and mafia vibes made John Wick as suitable role.

Talk about the plotline, There were no such things to be concern. Simply, John's has guts to pull a trigger in order to end this underworld mafia, period. Yes, That is the main point with runtime 2 hours 49 minutes combine with hand to hand combat to jaw dropping gunfights, the film keep audiences at the edge of their seats with incredible choreographed and visually captivated action scenes. Loved it !

Cons of the Film:
- Repetitive Themes, the story elements does feel really familiar in the last 3 series, leaving a desire for a more innovative approach to the plot (Referred to Ballerina as John Wick Spin-off).
- Too many characters, as the film provided many supporting characters and antagonists could have benefited from more exploration and development, yet I found there were lack of development & depth such as Shimazu (Hiroyuki Sanada) & Katia (Natalia Tena).
John Wick: Chapter 4 delivers what fans have come to love and expect from the series with a gripping, action-pack adventure that never shies away from its serious undertones or graphic violence. Although, with occasional pacing issues and a lack of character development prevent it from reaching the pinnacle of perfection.
