The film featured by famous actor/actress,  Cillian Murphy as J Robert Oppenheimer, Emily Bunt as Katherine Oppenheimer, Matt Damon as Leslie Groves, Robert Downey Jr as Lewis Strauss, Florence Pugh as Jean Tatlock, Josh Hartnett as Ernest Lawrence, Casey Affleck as Boris Pash, Rami Malek as David Hill, Kenneth Branagh as Niels Bohr, Dylan Arnold as Frank Oppenheimer, Gustaf Skarsgård as Hans Bethe & Tom Conti as Albert Einstein.  This is clearly Murphy's exposition. Review Insidious: The Red Door

Set 10 years after the ending events of the second film, Josh Lambert heads east to drop his son Dalton off at an idyllic, ivy-league university. However, Dalton’s college dream becomes a nightmare when the repressed demons of his past suddenly return to haunt them both.  This fifth installment brings back series staples Patrick Wilson, Ty Simpkins, Andrew Astor and Rose Byrne, alongside newcomers Hiam Abbass and Sinclair Daniel. In terms of story you definitely need to have watched all the preceded films as even though I have I don't remember them all completely and that had me unsure about certain things in the movie until it came back to me. The movie has a big time skip and then a final astral projection episode with a now grown Dalton and finally a ending to the evil on the other side and the series as a whole.  While it's not the most interesting story or the greatest movie out there it's own right, it is however a good ending to the series with a final permanent solu

Then lots of stories about early reviews being bad to mediocre at best. We went t
