Review - The Beekeeper

Eloise Parker, a retired school teacher living quiet live with barn tenan bee, Adam Clay. One day, Eloise's got a call from software company that aims to phishing her as a scam that bankrupts her and steals over $2 million from a charity fund school she manages. Depressed with the situation, Eloise commits to take her own life. Adam Clay who find out the scene want to vengeance takes on national stakes after he is revealed to be a former operative of a powerful and clandestine organization known as "Beekeepers."

Features with main character Jason Statham/Adam Clay and the antagonist Josh Hutcherson/Derek Danforth. The film directed by David Ayer and written by Kurt Wimmer with runtime 105 minutes. Distributed under the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) label

The plot is thin and predictable, but the film makes up for it with some well-choreographed and brutal fight scenes while having some amusing and not-so-amusing bee-related humor. Statham is in his element as the stoic and lethal protagonist, who shows a softer side when he talks about his love for bees. I would say  the supporting cast contributes some solid performances, adding depth to the characters and amplifying the film's impact. The film successfully blends elements of revenge, political drama, and intense action, making it a must-watch for fans of the genre. Statham proves he is one of the top action stars of this generation and one of the best of all time. He is at his bad ass best in this. It is action packed from beginning to end with some inventive and violent kills. The acting was mostly carried by the badass Jason Statham, and the rest was mediocre and on a very low scale.

This is a one time watchable movie, that's it. There is no need to be expected more on this such a film, you may only just get your ticket with your popcorn, cheer for the film and finished. The film suffers from a certain lack of backgorund develop and predictable story. Ultimately, The Beekeper is a great action figure living a quiet life forced out of retirement is quite a cliché storyline, but the Beekeeper was perfectly written and directed.
